The United Way of Knox County is closing in on its goal of meeting or exceeding last year’s donations in this year’s campaign.
United Way of Knox County director Mark Hill says along with normal contributions, a special posthumous donation is also helping them get toward theirwish of at least matching last year.
Another tool to assist the United Way in raising funds was yesterday’s “Giving Tuesday.” The donation numbers from that event have not been released at this time.
