The Vincennes University men’s basketball team lost to Mineral Area College 82-79 at the Olney Central
College Classic. Lebron Thomas paced VU with 22 points while Dayton Williams added 19. The Loss
Drops the Blazers to 6-3 on the Season. VU is back home on Wednesday night to face Schoolcraft College.

County Capital Classic over the Holiday Weekend. The Alices beat Lawrenceville 83-63 in the title game behind 30 points from
tournament MVP Luke Hall. Teammates Joel Sanders and Joshua Clegg also earned All-tournament team honors. The Alices are
5-0 for the first time since the 2006-2007 season. Lincoln will try to make it six in a row on Friday night at home against Evansville
Reitz.

In the top 20. Lawrence Central is number one. Homestead is second. Hamilton Southeastern, Center Grove and Warsaw round
Out the top five. Gibson Southern is 17th and Bloomington South 19th in this week’s poll.
