The Vincennes Lincoln Lady Alices softball team eked out a run in the third inning to defeat Sullivan 1-0 yesterday at Four Lakes Park. Lady Alice pitcher Jadon Miller gave up five hits and struck out nine in the victory.
The Lady Alices go to 1-1 on the year. Next up, they face North Knox tonight.
The Vincennes Lincoln JV take a ten run win from Washington, with an 11-1 final. Connor Hawn picked up the win with three innings of one-hit baseball. The JV Alices move to 1-0 with the victory.
Also, the South Knox Spartans open their baseball season with a 9-1 loss to Sullivan.
