The state championships in boys’ basketball are now set for this Saturday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianpoalis.
Among the teams playing are the 27-1 Barr-Reeve Vikings. The Vikings defeated Hauser Saturday night to win the 1-A Southern Semi-State. They will face 25-3 Triton for the state title at 10:30 Saturday morning. That will be opening title game of four to be played this Saturday.
In the other title games:
Approx. 12:45 pm ET | Class 2A State Championship
Parke Heritage (26-4) vs. Westview (27-1). Park Heritage defeated Linton Saturday night to win that semistate.
6 pm ET | Class 3A State Championship
Indianapolis Cathedral (24-5) vs. New Haven (22-7). Cathedral was a winner over Princeton in the Semi-State’s opening around on Saturday.
Approx. 8:15 pm ET | Class 4A State Championship
Mt. Vernon (Fortville) (27-3) vs. Crown Point (25-1)
