Former Indy Mayor Greg Ballard Attempting to Start New Political Party

Former Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard is trying to start a new political party.

Ballard’s campaign has announced the creation of the Lincoln Party in his bid for Indiana secretary of state.

The party will only be established if enough signatures are collected.

The Democratic, Republican, and Libertarian parties are currently the only parties that qualify to appear on the Indiana ballot.
