The CenterPoint Energy Foundation has introduced three new matching grant programs to help local nonprofits and small businesses in Evansville reduce energy costs. The Optimize initiatives offer up to $25,000 in matching grants for energy efficiency upgrades, including improvements to HVAC systems, lighting, and insulation. “Optimize for Local” targets local restaurants and retailers, while “Optimize for Good” assists nonprofits in reducing facility costs. “Optimize for Growth” supports small industrial and manufacturing businesses in enhancing energy efficiency.
