Nominations are now open for the Knox County Chamber of Commerce Awards Dinner. The ceremony itself is set for Thursday evening, May 7th, at the Highland Woods Community Center.
As in previous years, seven awards will be celebrated that evening. They include the Large Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, the Businesswoman of the Year, the Nonprofit of the Year, the Educator of the Year, and the Public Servant of the Year. The final award will be the C. James McCormick Community Leader of the Year.
Award nominations are being taken now. The nomination deadline in March 18th. Separate nominations are required for each award. Finally, nominations for both Large and Small Business of the Year must be Knox County Chamber members.
