The Duke Energy Foundation has awarded five-thousand dollars to the Knox County Public Library for development of its pocket park. The funding wil also be used to improve the Library campus surrounding the park area.
The pocket park—located near the main Library building—is being developed as part of a partnership with the Indiana University Center for Rural Engagement. The park’s goals are to increase community involvement, and to enhance the Library’s community visibility.
