The Knox County Commissioners heard an update last night on reimbursement for money spent during the late January snowstorm that hit the area. Knox County Emergency Management Agency director John Streeter says Knox County has far exceeded the federal threshold to get FEMA assistance. Streeter says his office has worked with the County itself, along with municipal and other affected groups, to get the final disaster-eligible numbers…
At this point, the relief is for public units only. County officials are still working toward a patn for personal assistance for cost taken on during the recent winter storm.
