“Irreverent Warriors” Get Grant to Help Fellow Veterans in Need

The Duke Energy Foundation awarded 55-hundred dollars in grant funds to the group Irreverent Warriors. The Duke gift is to help the group in their mission of addressing urgent mental health needs in their fellow veterans. That can include using humor and togetherness to deter veteran suicide, and promote mental health.
The funding will go directly toward Irreverent Warriors’ strategies to effectively improve veterans’ mental health outcomes.
