New Good Samaritan Hospital C-E-O Adam Thacker is adjusting to taking the reins of leadership at the Hospital. Thacker moved from Chief Administrative Officer to the top spot, replacing former C-E-O Rob McLin.
Thacker has named Wendy Hernandez to be his second in command—which was the same job he did for McLin. Thacker believes Hernandez has made her mark on his leadership team, even after a short time on the job.
However, Thacker notes not just Hernandez— but his whole leadership staff—is not qafraid to make differing points of view when needed.
Thacker was named last year to be McLin’s eventual successor. That gave him time to ready himself to take command upon McLin’s retirement.
