Governor Mike Braun last night announced his 2026 Freedom and Opportunity agenda focused on kitchen table issues and making life more affordable for Hoosiers, during his annual State of the State address.
The Governor believes childcare affordability is a top priority for his office this year. Braun also calls for a measure to rein in healthcare collections in Indiana.
Further, the Governor says his agenda builds on the progress achieved in 2025, and focuses on solutions for affordability, keeping Hoosiers safe, improving education quality and choice, and new jobs and higher wages.
