An 18-2 start led the Sullivan Golden Arrows to a 69-32 victory over the North Knox Warriors last night. Cam McCory led the Warriors with nine, while Will Trabant and Zane Zorman each added 8 apiece. Sullivan was l ed by 19 from Paul Ridgway.
The Rivet Patriots were defeated at home 64-46 by the Linton Miners. Philip Herman scored 17 for Rivet; Connor Daly had 24 for Linton.
The South Knox boys and girls’ teams defeated Washington Catholic at home last night. The Lady Spartans defeated Washington Catholic 88-4, with 23 leading the way from Kendal Hill. In the other game, the Spartans defeated the Cardinals 86-7.
The Vincennes Lincoln Lady Alices took on Southridge and Pike Central tonight and won twice, 129-19 over Southridge, and 128-95 over Pike Central.
First place finishers were Savannah Harmon n the 200 yard IM, with Emma Boxley placed 1st.In the 100 butterfly. Jamiee Vanlue placed 1st twice—in the 100 butterfly, and in the 500 freestyle. Adelynn Lange was top finisher in diving.
In the boys’ meet, the varsity lost twice to Pike Central and Southridge. Lucas Dogget won the 100 breaststroke, and placed second in the 100 freestyle.
The Clark Middle School sixth grade team got 12 out of Hailie Turner in a 36-19 win over Loogootee. The 6-B game also went to C-M-S, 27-21, with Kendal Combs leading with 10 points.
