The Indiana Department of Transportation says State Road 48 near Shelburn in Sullivan County is scheduled to be closed Monday for a bridge replacement project.
The closure will occur between County Roads 200 East and 300 East.
Work is expected to last through May of 2026, depending on the weather.
The official detour will be US 41 to State Road 246 to State Road 159.
Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
