Storm Shelter Registrations Being Taken in Greene County

      The Greene County Sheriff’s Office says it’s offering to register storm shelters in the county to make it easier for fire departments to locate individuals following a major storm.
      The sheriff’s office says several residents expressed intentions to build shelters following the May tornadoes.
      The registration would be linked to their address and would be shared with local fire departments.
      Registration can be completed by contacting the Greene County 911 Coordinator, John Sherer at 812-384-4411 and answering a few questions.
