Lawrence to Retire from Lawrence County Illinois Ambulance

The Lawrence County Illinois Board has accepted the retirement notice of County Ambulance Director Terry Lawrence. It is Lawrence’s intention to retire from the position after eight years of service. At this time, Lawrence has not set a definite retirement date.
Board members also approved a new three-year collective bargaining agreement with the County’s Fraternal Order of Police. The new agreement will cover Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department personnel through November 30th, 2028. Finally, the Board approved an interlocal agreement with the City of Sumner. That agreement is designed to improve the main north-south road running through Sumner.
