Indiana House Speaker Todd Huston has announced that the General Assembly will address time-sensitive issues during the first two weeks of December.
These meeting days will officially kick off the 2026 regular session, which formally begins with Organization Day on November 18th.
Huston stated this early start is the “most cost effective and efficient way” to handle the Governor’s request for a special session and avoid added cost.
