The Indiana Department of Transportation has added to its roster of Reduced Conflict Intersections across the Vincennes district. The left-turn based intersections are all along U-S 41—with locations in Carlisle, Oaktown, south of Princeton, and north of Evansville.
INDOT spokesman Gary Bryan knows at this point, those reduced conflict left-turn intersections are working. Bryan says one priority at those intersections is making sure everyone is well aware of the intersections’ presence.
The first reduced conflict intersection was placed on U-S 231 in Dale, followed by two at locations on U-S 41 near Oaktown.
