Five Indiana residents have been appointed by Governor Mike Braun to the Indiana-Illinois Boundary Adjustment Commission.
The commission will look into the possibility of redrawing the border, with several Illinois counties wanting to leave that state.
However, Illinois House Bill 1500 to create the Illinois-Indiana Boundary Adjustment Commission Participation Act has been sent to the House rules committee with no action being taken on it.
