The Triple-A Motor Club says the average price of gas in Indiana on Thursday stood at $3.35 a gallon, the same as Wednesday and fourteen cents higher than Thursday’s national average.
It was also nineteen cents higher than a week ago, twenty-nine cents higher than a month ago, and three cents higher than a year ago. Heading into the Labor Day weekend, gas prices have shot up to nearly 3-20 in Vincennes, and close to 3-40 a gallon at some spots in Knox County.
Meanwhile, Triple-A reports that the average price of diesel fuel in Indiana on Thursday stood at $3.80 a gallon, the same as Wednesday and the same as a week ago. And the average EV charging price in Indiana on Thursday was thirty-eight cents per kilowatt hour, cointinuing its steady price pace.
