Vincennes Teams Split in Cal Ripken Games on Sunday

Yesterday, the Vincennes Green team went to 1-1 with a 16-3 victory over Mineral Area, Missouri. The White team slipped to 0-2 as they fall 7-1 to Lineville, Alabama.
Today, the Vincennes White team plays Meridian, Idaho with the Green team playing a squad from the Philippines. Those games will be back to back on the Green diamond starting at 6:15. Tomorrow, the Green team will play Yonden, Massachusetts, with the White team squaring off against a team from Germany Again, both games Tuesday will be back to back on the Green diamond at 6 pm and at 8:15.
Seven teams have started the tournament 2-0. They include West Raleigh, North Carolina; South Lexington, Kentucky; Hawaii Kai; Newtown, Connecticut; Cranford New Jersey; Unionville, Pennsylvania; and Meridian, Idaho.
After pool play ends, tournament action will stretch from Wednesday through Saturday, August 13-th to 16th. The World Series final will happen on Saturday afternoon, August 16th.
