Indiana Governor Mike Braun and legislative leaders met with Vice President JD Vance for several hours Thursday as Vance came to the Hoosier state to try to get Congressional districts redrawn.
Braun would only say “we listened” when asked if they came to any agreement on redistricting well ahead of schedule, and House Speaker Todd Huston released a statement saying they “had a meaningful discussion.”
The Trump administration is trying to get districts redrawn in Texas to give Republicans more seats in the U.S. House, and Democrats have left the state in protest.
