Walmart is recalling around 850-thousand Ozark Trail water bottles.
The retailer says it’s taking the 64-ounce metal bottles off the market because some customers have been hit in the face by the lid.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the lid can “forcefully eject” posing serious impact and laceration hazards.
Two people suffered permanent vision loss after being struck in the eye.
The CPSC says this could happen if someone leaves carbonated or perishable drinks or even food in them for a long time.
Walmart says anyone who owns the recalled bottle can bring it to one of their stores and get a refund.
