Vigo County Sherriff’s and U.S. Marshalls Service Conduct Joint Operation

A man wanted for vehicular homicide in Tennessee has been apprehended by the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office. Forty-six-year-old Timothy Kiefner was taken into custody in eastern Vigo County without incident. Kiefner faces charges in Tennessee, including vehicular manslaughter and homicide with an intoxicated driver. His arrest was the result of a joint effort between the Vigo County Sheriff’s Criminal Activity Task Force and the U.S. Marshals Service. Kiefner is now awaiting transfer back to Dickson County, Tennessee.
