A tragedy has seen a heartwarming turn for a family in southwest Indiana.
Nine-year-old Teigan McCammon is now home from the hospital, welcomed by a parade in Dugger.
People were wearing T-shirts, saying “Teigan Strong.”
McCammon spent the last month at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis after being injured when an EF-2 tornado touched down in Greene County in mid-May.
A tree fell on his family’s car, during the tornado, severely injuring Teigan and killing his mother, Allison.
