The legacy of their love flourishes through their children, Tammy Thompson (Jim) of Bicknell, and Tina Mundy (Keith Roark) of Edwardsport, IN, who continue to embody the family values instilled in them.
The family tapestry Lynn meticulously weaved included her siblings David Snellenberger (Linda) of North Vernon, Lora Carlisle (Gib) of Petersburg, IN, and she was also preceded in death by her sisters Eunice Helen Hill and Lou Snellenberger Bastide Hedrick; brothers Bill and Bud Benedict; brother in laws Bill Hill, Gib Bastide and Rich Hedrick, Donald Mundy, William Mundy; sister in laws Ginny Benedict, Eldina Benedict, and Nancy Albrecht; nieces Stephanie Lynn Bastide, Julie Ann Bastide-Jones, and Lisa Ann Mundy.
Lynn’s pride and joy were her five grandchildren, Tiffney Thompson (Kyle Atkins), Matthew Thompson (Misty), Zachary Jacobs (Stephanie), Micheal Jacobs, and Clayton Mundy, who were the recipients of her boundless support and adoration. Her love extended to her twelve great-grandchildren, Keagan Thompson, Kynlee Legg, Kaysen Legg, Bryson Atkins, Kixton Atkins, Bryson Thompson, Draven Thompson, Byron Buttler, Drake Buttler, Gaberial Geary, Gracie Jacobs and Myia, and one great-great-granddaughter, Auroa Rose; a testament to the beautifully sprawling family tree she tended with care.
Throughout her life, Lynn was devoted to her community and various associations. She demonstrated her crafting talents and work ethic as a seamstress for Gossards. She then was employed by Family Pharmacy of Bicknell and then retired from the Bicknell Police Department where she worked as a dedicated dispatcher. Her faith and commitment to service were evident through her membership in the Bicknell Church of Christ and her roles as both a Past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star and a leader for Girl Scouts and Brownies. Lynn delighted in French culture and fellowship spurred by her participation in the local French Club.
Lynn will be remembered as a beacon of love at every family event, her voice rising above the crowd, cheering on her grandchildren at their numerous sports and activities such as baseball, softball, basketball, football, cheerleading, wrestling, volleyball, track, and quad-racing. She endured weather’s extremes in the bleachers, an emblem of her unwavering support and dedication.
