Work Continues on Deck Overlay on U-S 41 at Kelso Creek

Work continues on the U-S 41 bridge between its tri-level split with U-S 50 and the Hart Street exit. The project started in early spring, and still has at least a couple more weeks to go.
The closeness of the work to the 41-50 south split has caused a closure of U-S 50 westbound to 41 southbound. INDOT’s Gary Bryan says the work on the Kelso Creek Bridge is preventative maintenance now to save on a larger expense later.

Right now, INDOT officials still estimate the work will be done by the end of the month, conditions permitting.
