It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we announce the passing of Robert Louis Street Jr., affectionately known as Bobby, who departed this life on May 5, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on July 30, 1955, Bobby is the son of Bob Street Sr. and Margaret (Smith) Street. He lived a life full of warmth, laughter, and love for the simple pleasures that brought him joy.
Bobby had a passion for sports that was infectious. He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys, often playfully sparring with his brother, Rocky, about the superiority of his Cowboys over Rocky’s beloved San Francisco 49ers. Bobby’s competitive spirit was always accompanied by a warm smile that made the friendly banter memorable.
Beyond his love for sports, Bobby found solace and happiness in fishing, a pastime he often enjoyed with family and friends. His greatest joy, however, came from his deep affection for his family. Bobby was a simple man whose heart was as big as his zest for life, and he took great pride in nurturing his relationships with those he loved.
Bobby was a dedicated employee at KCARC for 33 years, where he forged many meaningful friendships that enriched his life. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched with his kindness, humor, and gentle spirit.
Bobby is survived by his loving father, Robert Street; his devoted brother, Rocky Street; and his sisters, Marie Lane and Donna Street. Bobby is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation for Bobby will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025 from 12:00 pm until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Bobby’s family would like to thank the staff at Gentlecare and Good Samaritan Hospice for all the kindness and care that was shown to Bobby.
