Vincennes Water Utilities officials are considering a long-term plan to add a water filtration system at their drinking water plant on River Road. If and when it is put in place, the system would make the City’s groundwater system even better.
Vincennes Water Utilities general manager Kirk Bouchie knows it is a project that will be years down the road. Bouchie lays out the long-term beneficiaries of an in-house water filtration system.
At this point, the City’s water meets all regulatory standards for safety and usability. However, the long term goal is to continue improving the drinking water for the areas they serve.
