E-911 Officials Report Smooth Transition for City Dispatch– So Far

Knox County E-911 officials report a smooth transition for Vincennes Police Department calls to the county’s Central Dispatch. The actual move of V-P-D dispatch and administrative calls to the County’s center started at the beginning of the year.
E-911 officials told the County Commissioners the complete transfer is a step by step process. The next move will be toreeive the City Police’s interface system. That step is expected to be complete by sometime next month.
