Jeffrey Alan “Woody” Woodhull, age 66, of Washington, IN, passed away surrounded by love on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, in Washington, IN. Born on February 27, 1958, to Marjorie Joan “Hogue” Woodhull and the late Charles Robert Woodhull, Woody was a lifelong resident of Indiana, cherished by his family and friends for his kind nature, friendly demeanor, and humorous spirit.
Woody graduated from Pike Central High School in 1976, where he forged many lasting friendships and went on to receive certifications in mechanics. His career path led him to become a skilled mechanic at well-respected institutions such as McAllister Machinery, McDonald’s Chevrolet and IMI Concrete, where he left a legacy of hard work and dedication.
Fondly known as “Woody” to those who knew him best, his passion for hot rods led him to the 20th Century Chevy Car Club in Washington, a community where he shared his enthusiasm with fellow aficionados. His laughter and characteristic good humor often filled gatherings, leaving an imprint on the hearts of those present. He was a member of ABATE of Indiana as well as an avid motorcycle rider for many years.
Beyond his professional and club associations, Woody was a man deeply rooted in his love for friends and family, most evident in the strong bonds he developed with his fellow 20th Century Chevy members who were among his closest friends.
He is survived by his loving mother, Marjorie Joan Woodhull; his siblings, Brad Woodhull (Doris) and Pam Woodhull-Zagorski; his adored nieces and nephews, Paula, Keila, Jennifer, Bradford, and Tonie; his ex-wife, Janet Browning; and his step-children, Kurt and Chrissy Browning. Preceded in death by his father, Charles Robert Woodhull, and his brother-in-law, John Zagorski. Jeffrey Alan “Woody” Woodhull will be deeply missed by many.
