If you are using Christmas lights on your vehicle for weekend Christmas parades—that is great. However, Indiana State Police remind you those lights have not place otherwise on Indiana’s roads. State Police Sergeant Glen Fifleld reminds everyone those lights on vehicles are not legal for everyday driving.
Indiana isn’t alone either, No U.S. state allows Christmas lights on vehicles for regular road use. In everyday driving, authorities feel those light displays on vehicles can be dangerous to other traffic, since it could confuse other drivers of a vehicle’s driving intentions.
