Fire Training Center Coming to Knox County

The Indiana Department of Homeland Security has announced the Vincennes and Vincennes Township Fire Departments are joint recipients of a fire training facility.      
The announcement was made Thursday during the dedication of the new Alan W. Burns Fire Training Facility in Plainfield.      
The facility will provide Vincennes, Knox County, and other area firefighters the opportunity to conduct live fire training in a state-of-the-art burn facility.
