Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb has reached the final quarter if his eight years in office. The Governor could not run from re=election, since an Indiana Governor is limited to two consecutive terms in office.
However, Governor Holcomb believes he leaves the state better than he found it, thanks in part to the success of those who came before him.
The Knox Cou8nty native Holcomb also credits some of his Knox County mentors for helping establish a good foundation he took to Indianapolis…
Holcomb’s family has roots in both Vincennes and in Oaktown. he worked for a time in the Vincennes Mayor’s office before joining state government. He served un the Daniels and Pence administrations, before becoming Pence’s Lieutenant Governor. He then was elected Governor himself in 2016, when Pence left office to become Vice-President under former President Donald Trump.
