Even though this is the Memorial Day weekend, Vincennes City officials are thinking ahead to the Fourth of July.
Nominations for the annual “Spirit of ’76” award are being accepted through the City’s offices at 201 Vigo Street. The nominee must be a Knox County resident who helps their community, and makes it a better place, through personal involvement. That includes the use of time, talent, energy, and resources.
The nomination deadliune is 4 pm Wednesday, June 19th. The nominations may be mailed to City Hall, dropped off there, or submitted by E-mail to info-at-vincennes-dot-gov.
