KC Sports Roundup for Wednesday

The Lincoln Baseball team came up short against Jasper, falling to the Wildcats 4-3.
Raden Benson had a double and drove in a pair of runs while Brady Anderson went the distance
for the Alices, allowing four earned runs on five hits while striking out six.  Lincoln falls to 14-6 on the season
and finish conference play at 4-5.
South Knox shut out North Daviess on the road 4-0 yesterday.  Two runs each in the third and fourth lef to the win.
Evan Hartwick threw six innings of shutout ball to gain the win.  Leading the way offensively were Mavrick Benjamin and Tanner Holland with two hits and two runs batted in each.
The Lincoln Softball team lost to Jasper 6-1.  The Alices only run came courtesy of a solo homer from
Miley Carie-Frederick.  Addy Alton had a pair of hits for Lincoln who drops to 8-11 on the season.  The
Alices play at Evansville North tonight.
The South Knox Tennis Team is now 19-0 after shutting out Princeton 5-0. Winning in singles play were Abby Cunningham, Alli Hayden and Grace Arnold.  Posting wins in doubles play were Caroline Beard and Grace Carie and the team of Reagan Harrington and Anna Provines.
The Rivet Golf team finished first in a tri-match at Cypress Hills.  The Patriots had a 166.  Evansville Christian with ac183 and Northeast Dubois a 208.
Rivets Parker Steininger was medalist with a 35.  Drake Bellessa had a 41.  Zach Bottoms, Fisher Lemon and Nash Chattin a 45 each.
The Lincoln Girls track team finished third to Jasper and Evansville Christian in a tri-meet at Jasper.
Top finishers for the Alices were Greer Hardin second in the high jump, Courtney Deffendall second in
the shot put and Alivia Eaton third in the shot put.
The South Knox boys’ track team took the Blue Chip Conference track meet last night with 222 points,  Northeaast Dubois was second with 125.  Barr-Reeve was third, followed by North Knox, Shoals, and Wood Memorial.
All three South Knox relay teams– the 4 by 100, 4 by 400, and 4 by 800– were all winners. Individual champions included Tucker Risley, Landon peterson, and Sam Theriac in two events each.  Jayden McIntire and Zach Woolard were single event winners for the Spartans.
