The IHSAA Baseball tournament was drawn last night. The sectionals will run
May 22 thru May 25th.
At the Jasper 3-A sectional…Game one has Jasper playing Southridge with Vincennes Lincoln taking
on Heritage Hilla in Game two. The winners of those two games will meet in the first semi-final
while Pike Central and Washington will play in the second semi-final.
Moving to the Sullivan 2-A sectional….
The opener has Eastern Greene playing Linton. South Knox and North Knox
will play in game two. The two winners from the opening round play in the first semi-final
while the host Arrows take on Mitchell in the second semi-final.
Finally at the Loogootee Class A sectional…
Game one has Orleans playing Loogootee. The second game features Shoals and North
Davies. The winners of the first round will meet in the semi-finals while the second game has
Barr-Reeve playing Rivet.
The Girls softball tournament was also drawn. At the Southridge 3-A sectional….
Pike Central will take on Heritage Hills in game one. Game two has Southridge playing
Washington. Vincennes Lincoln will take on the winner in game one in the first semi-final while
Jasper meets the winner in game two.
At the South Knox 2-A sectional….
North Knox plays Eastern Greene in the opener. The second game has the host
Spartans taking on Sullivan. Mitchell awaits the winner of the first game while Linton
faces the winner in the second semi-final.
The girls softball sectionals will run May 20 thru 25th.
