Blue Jeans Center, Anne Pratt Latest Announced Chamber Honorees

Monroe City’s Blue Jeans Center has been named as the Knox County Chamber of Commerce’s Nonprofit of the Year.
The Blue Jeans Center sarted in February of 1999, following the final use of the Monroe City school building as an education center.  Since then, the building has become a multi-function community center , and has changed the landscape of Monroe City.
The center’s nomination is based on what nomination committee members call its “exceptional dedication to non-profit management.”
Also, the Knox County Chamber of Commerce has named Anne Pratt as their Businesswoman of the Year.  Pratt currently the executive director of the Red Skelton Museum and Foundation.
Pratt is  being ho0nored as a successful businesswoman, and source of inspiration for many people.  She is also being honored for her commitment to community service over the years.
Pratt and six other honorees will be recognized at the annual Chamber Awards Dinner on May first at Highland Woods Community Center in Vincennes.
