Area Co-Op gas locations will again be “Fueling Freedom” this year.  This year’s effort to help the National Guard Family Readiness group will be from noon to six p-m on Friday, June 21st.
Participating Countrymark Co-Op stations in the area include the Melon Patch between Vincennes and Oaktown; Speedy Pete’s in Monroe City; Premier Energy Junction in Bloomfield; and Terre Haute’s Countrymark station on Farr Drive.
That day, 50 cents our of every gallon of gas sold that afternoon will go to local Guard family readiness groups.  This is the tenth year for “Fueling Freedom”;  in the nine years prior, the effort has raised over a half-million dollars for the readiness program.
