Tomorrow is dedication day for a Russian t-34 tank, donated to the Indiana Military Museum. The dedication will be in the Museum’s annex, starting at 11 am.  There will be free admission to the Annex area for the dedication.
The tank was donated to the Museum, after the closing of a similar military museum in Wisconsin.  The tank was the property of the late Robert Costa; it was one of his wishes that the tank be given tot he Vincennes facility.  Museum spokesman J-D Strange says Costa got the tank just by asking the Russian government for it.
The tank was originally sent to the museum in Wisconsin in the fall of 1991.  Museum officials in Indiana have had the tank for a time before unveiling it as a museum exhibit.
