On the local sports scene for today…
The Lincoln Baseball team will play at Washington at six tonight.
The Lincoln Girls softball team hosts North Central at five and you can watch the game live streamed at wzdm.com.
The South Knox Baseball team visits Loogootee at six.
The South Knox Girls softball team takes on Linton at six.
The South Knox tennis team host’s Evansville Christan at 5:30.
North Knox softball team plays at Sullivan at five.
North Knox track team host Washington Catholic and Shoals at five.
Rivet Golf team plays North Daviess at 4:30.
Rivet track team runs at Wood Memorial at six.
The 67th consecutive season of Vincennes Cub League baseball gets underway tonight.  Over 650 boys and girls from ages 3 to 16 will participate this season.  This years league has over 60 teams playing nearly 500 games on six fields.  Vincennes Cub League will also host the Ohio Valley 9 and 12 year old Ohio Valley Regionals.
The opening ceremony gets underway at 5:45 tonight.
The Vincennes University Baseball team dropped a pair to Lincoln Land College 10-5 and 17-6.  The Blazers drop to 11-30 on the season.
Vincennes native Adam Schenk finished one-over-par and tied for 12th place in his Masters Open Debut.  The 12th place finish also earns the South Knox grad an invitation to next years tournament.  Scottie Schaffer won his second masters, finishing at 11-under-par.
