The high school and college season of celebration is near, as kids start anticipating the activities associated with the end of the school year. Two of the biggest are prom season and graduation, and all the things associated with those activities.
Vincennes Police Chief Jon Hillenbrand understands– and knows it is essential to continue to preach a safety message.
Hillenbrand says as always, for end of year activities, safety is their main focus.
One big emphasis– especially this month– is enforcing Indiana’s “hands-free” law. Police statewide are cracking down on texting, or other physical phone use, while driving.
