Work continues on the newest Vincennes water tower at Hart Street and Richard Bauer Drive. The latest work has happened under a cover, that has shrouded the entire tank project. Vincennes Water Utilities General Manager Kirk Bouchie says the covering allows for work to the tank’s exterior. Bouchie also knows constant wind in that area also leads to the need to do the work under cover.
Recently, crews have also been painting the exterior and interior of the water tank itself. All the work is part of a plan to have the new tank operational later this year.
