WIN Energy Gives “Round-Up” Grants to Non-Profits

WIN Energ’s Community Trust has given its annual grants collected through “Operation Round Up.”  The grants are provided by customers rounding up their electric bills to the highest dollar each month.
Six groups benefited from the grants this year. They include Habitat for Humanity in Gibson County; the Patoka Presbyterian Church; Pike County Christian Assistance; the Sullivan Baseball League; the Town of Shelburn; and the Vigo County Educational Foundation.
Overall, the groups received a total amount of just under 15-thousand dollars.  Overall, the WIN Energy Foundation has granted just under 700-thousand dollars in the last 11 years.
