The United Way of Knox County is taking donations now as part of the nationwide “Giving Tuesday.” The Tuesday after Thanksgiving is set aside for giving to various charitable organizations.
United Way of Knox County director Mark Hill calls it a refreshing change for the shopping blitz after Thanksgiving. Hill calls it another way to be thankful– even after Thanksgiving.
Donations are being accepted for Giving Tuesday through a week from tonight. Giving Tuesday officially ends at 11:49 Tuesday, November 28th.
