Fall gets here on Thursday, and with that the beginning of the holiday season for some, including the US Postal Service. USPS is looking for holiday help. They plan to hire around 700 Hoosiers statewide to make sure they have enough staff to facilitate the holiday rush.
USPS spokesperson Susan Wright told an Indianapolis TV station that they are hiring mail carriers, warehouse workers, and mail sorters among many other jobs. Starting pay is 19-to-22-bucks an hour. The new hires will have no benefits to start — but Wright says those hired have a shot at landing a permanent job.
