Sports Recap for Wednesday, 9/21

The Lincoln Boys Soccer team beat Shoals 6-1.  Dagen Parido had a hatrick and Teighan Johnson had a pair of goals for the Alices.
Evansville Central beat the Lincoln girls soccer team 7-2.  Lucy Weisenberger and Maya Miller each scored for the Lady Alices.
The Lincoln Volleyball team dropped a tough 3-1 decision to Evansville Reitz.  Allyson Beckort had 26 digs to lead the Lady Alices.  Macy Taylor had 19 digs and Matti Collins chipped in with 15 assists.  Reitz won the JVs match 2-0.
The Rivet volleyball team beat Pike Central 3-0.  Mary Herman paced Rivet with 18 kills while Reese McBee added 14.  Kenadee Frey added 10 digs and 19 assists.  Pike Central won the JV contest 2-1.
The South volleyball team beat Northeast Dubois in five sets 3-2.  Addy Delise with a big game for the Spartans…15 points, 13 kills, 24 assists and 19 digs.  Bren Hill
added 11 points and 13 kills while Jaelynn Grumieaux had 31 digs.  South Knox won JV match 2-0.  Grace Carie had ten points and 12 assists for the Spartans.
North Knox volleyball team lost to Linton 3-0.  Alex McKinley had 9 points and 9 digs for the Warriors.   Linton won the JV contest 2-0.
(Cross Country)
The South Knox Girls cross country team finished first at the Barr Reeve Invitational.  Top finishers for the Spartans were Aubrey Nowaski third and Abby Cunningham 7th.
Top finisher for Lincoln was Megga Luchtefeld 35th.  The South Knox Boys placed second at the Barr Reeve invitational  with Calvin Crabtree third and Dylan Maeder fifth.
Daxx Weist was 21st for Lincoln.
Jasper blanked Lincoln in tennis 5-0.
North Daviess shutout the South Knox tennis team 5-0.
(Middle School/Junior High Roundup)
The Clark Middle school 8th grade volleyball team downed North Daviess 2-0.  Presley Davis had 14?assists and CC Herron 6 kills.
The Clark 6th grade volleyball team is 5-0 after beating Princeton 2-0.  Olivia Lewis had 22 points for CMS.  Princeton won the B game 2-0.
The South Knox Middle School Golf defeated Clark 110-124.  Jordan Allen of South Knox was the medalist with a 24.  Top finishers for Clark were Carter Johnson and Gavin Catt with 29’s.
