Wednesday was a busy night for high school boys basketball teams in the area,
Sullivan downed South Knox 61-59. South Knox was led by Dakota Candler with a career high 22 points. Cody Dawson added 11 off the bench and Brennen Robinson chipped in 10. The Spartans are now 0-1 and are back in action December 3rd at White River Valley.
The North Knox Warriors are 1-0 after a 34-28 victory on the road at White River Valley. North Knox is back in action November 30th at Clay City.
In other Boys Basketball action from around the area, Linton defeated Indianapolis Metropolitan 65-56, Northeast Dubois defeated Pike Central 60-50, and Barr-Reeve defeated Washington 54-41.
In Girls Basketball Action, Vincennes Rivet downed Washington Catholic 62-10. Lexi Frey was the only Lady Patriot in double figures with 15. The Lady Patriots are now 5-0 on the year and are back in action December 2nd at Barr-Reeve.
The VU Trailblazers slipped to 3-7 after falling to Indian Hills 68-40 at Lake Land College. Indian Hills led 28-20 at halftime and outscored the Blazers by 20 in the 2nd half. Shilo Jackson led the Blazers in scoring with 14 points in the loss.
