Vincennes City Hall is closed to the public until October 26th, due to a coronavirus exposure. The announcement was made earlier today by City officials.
All offices at City Hall– including the Mayor’s office, Clerk-Treasurer’s office, and the offices of the Parks Department, Engineer, and Inspector are all affected. All public meetings from now through October 26th are cancelled, except for the Vincennes City Council meeting on October 13th. That session will be held virtually through Zoom at six that evening. The Board of Works meeting that afternoon is also cancelled.
All departments at City Hall may still be reached by phone. The phones will be monitored for both calls and voice mails. The offices are expected to re-open on October 26th. At this time, the October 26th City Council session is planned to happen in person.
