The Daviess County Health Department reported Wednesday an additional COVID-19 related death since its last report on Monday.
That brings the county’s total number of COVID-19 deaths to 28.
Health officials say the death is not related to any area nursing homes or assisted living facilities.
Meanwhile, Daviess County recorded 13 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 since Monday.
That brings the county’s total case count since April to 666.
5,187 people have been tested for the Novel Coronavirus in Daviess County so far.
